"The unique format enabled screen surfing which was a very enjoyable experience" a delegate
As this was our first year of RATMA we decided to resist the temptation of researching what other festivals did and just ran with our imaginings. We resisted too much market research in case it contaminated the dream. We now have a product to be proud of. However, since we have now met the film makers, delegates and businesses that took part in the event we realise if we take this product into the future we need to address things we could have done better.
To give you an idea of how new and flexible the event was there was a point half way through the day when someone had the bright idea of ditching the timetable in a reaction to customer feedback during the event. This had an instant effect and enhanced the delegate experience immediately.
What I am now asking, before the team get into full swing with the launch and planning of 2014, what was your experience of the event. Even if you didn't go, tell us why not, if you sent us a film what would have improved your experience? These questions will remain unanswered unless you let us know your views.
I don't even know what questions need answering unless you tell me, so don't just read this and expect someone else to tell me what you think, go for it, I promise I will be grateful even if your comments are negative.

I am the co-director, event coordinator, manager call it what you like but I am just the facilitator for RATMA. My role is to take ideas, polish them and try to make them reality for RATMA 2014
